How to sign a PDF
To sign a PDF, open the Sign PDF tool, add your file, draw or type your signature, and drop it where it belongs — then download the signed PDF. Everything happens in your browser, so a sensitive contract is never uploaded.
Draw or type
Draw your signature with a mouse or finger, or type your name in a handwriting-style font. Place it on any page and resize it to fit the signature line.
Signing forms
If the PDF has interactive fields, use Fill Forms to complete them first, then sign. To lock everything so it can't be changed, flatten the file afterward.

Frequently asked
- Is my signed document uploaded anywhere?
- No. Signing happens entirely in your browser, so the document and your signature never leave your device.
- Is this a legally binding e-signature?
- It places a visible signature image on the PDF. For workflows that require a certificate-based digital signature, a dedicated e-signature service is needed.
